A WORD FROM OUR OWNER
After a competing alongside Olympic athletes in two sports – ice hockey and Olympic Weightlifting, owner, Caitlin Hogan, developed the systems behind the Annex’s program, realizing that health is a lifelong pursuit. A journey that one travels that is ever adapting and never perfected. We all have fluid goals that change throughout the years – sport, body composition, strength, etc. – but what training all boils down to is our ability to stay healthy, strong, and happy into our later years in life. Because this end goal is the same for all people walking in our doors, the Annex’s training is progressive, steady, challenging, and intelligent no matter the program. It aims to chip away at each body, regardless of background and training experience, to mold it into a stronger, better performing, and more confident being. We are all Human Beings. We are all made of bone, tissue, muscles, water, and cells. We all sweat, we all bleed, we all grow old. The individuality of training comes into play in regards to your specific goals. The Annex’s system acknowledges these goals, assesses the individual’s current capacity in regards to said goals, and works to gain full control of this capacity, create more stable capacities, and expand on the current limits. This holds true for strength, mobility, skill, fat loss, muscle building, or simply just working out. The process is never perfected as movement is never perfected. The Annex is Movement Therapy. You’ll not only get stronger, more fit, and more confident but you’ll also feel better as a human being in real life outside the gym. This system is something special and I can’t wait to share it with you. – Coach Caitlin
