The VIP Semi Personal Training Program has changed how I feel inside and out. The coach’s knowledge is beyond well rounded. The tailored nutritional plans are super simple to follow. Having the personalized training sessions has really changed my body's abilities during workouts in ways I didn't know were possible! These two pillars together are the perfect combination to truly make a difference in your health. I feel like I got my life back. Take the leap of faith and do it. Oh my goonies, there's tons of things i could say about my training and nutrition! First of all, i'm loving getting stronger! It's fun and exciting reaching new personal bests. I was eating whole foods before my meal plans but I wasn't eating the right amount for me so i felt sluggish and sad at times. With the meal plans the Annex created for me, I now have tons of energy and best of all, I feel great! I couldn't be happier with my nutrition plan and training. This program has been one of my greatest investments for myself.
This program is phenomenal! After an eight-month long hiatus from working out and contracting COVID, the VIP Semi Personal group is putting me back on track not only with functional body movements and strength, but with nutrition too. The coaches are super knowledgeable and will move parts of your body just a little bit to activate muscles that you didn't know existed. I've gained my strength back and running is getting easier in just two months of this program. I'm excited to see where this training and programming will take me.

Coach Caitlin and the Annex Training Center came highly recommended to me and now it is my turn to highly recommend both to anyone who is looking for an incredibly knowledgeable coach and a top notch training center. From the first day, I've felt welcomed by all of the other members and motivated through every workout. The semi-personal sessions with Coach Caitlin have been educational, challenging, fun and rewarding. As a coach she pays close attention to form and making sure that I'm learning while getting stronger. I would also recommend the Annex Lab nutrition coaching to anyone that would like to learn more about how to properly fuel their body, but also to someone who is looking for accountability, the program is game-changing! If this hasn't yet convinced you to check out the Annex then I just recommend you get in your car and drive over to have a chat with Coach Caitlin, you won't regret it!
Like most individuals I joined CrossFit to get stronger, lose weight, and be in the best shape of my life. But what I found was more than that. I was going through the worst break-up of my life in 2011, I was 175lbs, newly diagnosed hypertensive, and going down a spiral of death (yes dramatic I know, but I truly was). I needed a game changer. That’s when I joined the Annex VIP Semi Personal Training Crew. Coach Caitlin rebuilt my foundation to ensure that I can continue to pursue an active lifestyle. The techniques she taught me was everything my old coaches told me not to do. Her style of coaching was to work on the entirety of the body and not just focus on specific movements. She wanted me to grow mentally and physically. Her coaching and mentoring did not stop there, she brought nutrition and mobility into my regimen. In regards to nutrition, she built meal plans that catered to my specific goals, included some of my favorite foods, and was easy to sustain. She gave me the realization that nutrition is not about fad diets, it is a lifestyle change.
Joining the Annex was literally one of the best decisions I have ever made. I couldn't even tell you how long I've been a member all I know is that I'm home. I love the progress I make, I love the roadblocks I bust through, and I love that I can have an off day and know it's going to be ok. I used to avoid the gym now it's my safe space.
I love this gym, the coaching is amazing! I take the Strength Training classes and I can definitely seen an improvement on my body. Caitlin takes pride in her work and takes the time to make sure we are all doing the movements correctly.
If you're reading this you have found the last gym you'll ever need or ever want to go to. I came here after meeting the coach at a Crossfit gym. I knew that my time was over at the crossfit gym I was at and I was looking for a change because I felt like I didn't have goals that were complimented by the programming.
After starting here at the Annex, I've been learning more about my body (I still am) and how to alter goals so I don't plateau. This facility has pretty much anything you need to get your move on.
I absolutely love training here. The coaches are amazing and the owner, Caitlin Hogan, is AMAZING! Did I mention that's she's a weightlifting champion?! I am somewhat uncoordinated and she is so patient with me. She teaches the proper way to lift and her programming is fantastic. I take her Strength Training classes and I will never go to another gym again. This gym is a perfect fit for me and my schedule.
I have been to a lot of gyms and have yet to find a place where I really feel that the owner/staff care about my life and fitness goals until now. Caitlin Hogan puts so much energy, time, and passion into this place and it shows. Her programing has a purpose and a goal to it - not to mention the variety she provides. Whether you are an avid lifter, new lifter, just looking to get in shape, looking to build endurance, looking to build strength, interested in nutrition, or just want to break a sweat she has a program for you. This place teaches proper technique in all their movements and emphasizes quality and improvement rather than ego. Not convinced come in and check it out 🙂 It's an easy going, fun and accepting community not to mention a business that is well run, dependable, and professional.
This gym tops them all! I've been training in one way or another from an early age. Now that I am in my 50's, I know how important weight bearing exercise is for bone density. This is my go to gym and workout. The best trainers starting with Caitlin Hogan!! Every trainer at this gym is more than qualified and I trust that I am supervised and consistently corrected when my form or technique is not on point. Thank you, Cassie, Josie, Sasha, Gabe, BJ, Jez and all the staff at The Annex! I am grateful to you all. : )
I love it here, all the trainers help keep you motivated and the members are nice and friendly. This place has been the best gym I have joined. I will continue to go here because the gym has made me feel like family, thank you to everyone there! You are all the best.
